Yeah... I prefer the old days of pokemon too. I still remember when the anime first came out. I loved it.

It's like everything that came out when we were little was so good...and now everything is...either even more unoriginal, not entertaining, even more pointless than usual(though I enjoy watching cartoons, sitcoms, etc, I think it's a pointless part of my life) or focused on a smaller audience. Like old shows on nick, cartoon network or even disneychannel, I might actually enjoy watching some of them even when I'm 16 but a lot of the cartoons and things now are...just not as good as they used to make them :/

Exactly! There's so much crap now that it just kills the braincells.... my little sister is proof of that... I remember when cartoons were so entertaining and even a little bit disturbing but they always had at least a moral to it if it wasn't excitingly educational. And if not, it was at least highly original in its entertainment.

Yeah...my little sister is learning insulting phrases and languages that is so disrespectful without actually knowing what it means. Her tone sometimes resembles that of an extremely annoying little wannabe teenager of some sort. I'm fine with her watching Family Guy or Futurama since it's obviously inappropriate and stupidity exaggerated so she knows not to copy them...it's the ones that you actually find people acting like that in the real world that she finds difficult to see if what they say is ok or not -_-

Yeah, same here. my sister pisses me off so much. I think my mom has somewhat lost hope on actually disciplining her but she still tries.
